Azul’s Deputy CTO Simon Ritter will do a presentation with the title: ‘From JDK 9 to 12 and Beyond: Delivering New Features in the JDK’. In this session he will discuss the rapid evolution of the Java platform with the introduction of new features including local variable type inference, Flight Recorder, and switch expressions. Simon will also cover the longer-term plans for Java, with projects like Amber, Loom and Valhalla.
