Join Azul’s Deputy CTO, Simon Ritter, and Stuart Marks (A.K.A. Dr Deprecator) for a birds-of-a-feather session that will explore the new local variable type inference feature of JDK 10. Using var rather than an explicit type may seem like a small change but it can be used to make code both more readable and more opaque. Examples of both good and bad uses will be provided and discussed.
More details of the session can be found here.
