Join Azul Deputy CTO, Simon Ritter, who will be delivering the keynote presentation on “JDK 9 Mission Accomplished: What Next For Java?” In this session, Simon will talk about the recent changes to the OpenJDK project leading to a faster, more agile release model delivering a new JDK version every six-months. Simon will also explain what this means to developers, administrators and managers when planning which version of the JDK to use and how to ensure access to security and bug patches. The session will conclude with a look at some of the future technical plans for the Java platform.
