Azul’s CTO Gil Tene has various speaking engagements at this event; on Tuesday, November 12 he’ll speak about the various garbage collection techniques available in JVMs today, in a presentation entitled ‘(Really) Understanding Garbage Collection‘. On Wednesday he will present a talk on the changes in Java release cycles entitled ‘Life After 8‘; on the same day he’ll do a presentation about ‘Supporting Java Outside LTS’ and he’ll participate on a panel discussing Startup and VM Futures.
