Azul Systems® Achieves Record Results for its Fiscal Year

Mountain View, CA, March 1, 2011 – Azul Systems, the award-winning leader in scalable, reliable platforms for business-critical Java™ applications, today announced record bookings and revenue for its fiscal year 2011, ended Jan 31, 2011. The company achieved the highest bookings and revenue in its history, up 117% and 91% respectively compared with the prior fiscal year. The company also saw continued growth across all major industry verticals, including financial services, banking, insurance, telecommunications and retail with new and repeat business in Global 3000 companies, such as Farmers Insurance, TD Securities, Saks.com, Belk, SuccessFactors, Juniper Networks, and Global Collect.

This past year, Azul Systems also expanded its global partner ecosystem, increasing product and serviceavailability worldwide. New partnerships formed include Dimension Systems, Hub City Media and Grid Dynamics regionally in the US; FusionStorm and Agilysys broadly throughout North America; and GreenHat, Ecetera Pty. Ltd., Mercurien Ltd., Epidata, and Migtower internationally.

Azul’s new Zing™ Java Platform, the industry’s first software-only elastic runtime platform for Java applications, also contributed to the company’s strong growth in fiscal year 2011 and continues to see strong adoption in Global 3000 companies.
