Azul Systems Highlights Java Runtime Innovations at Red Hat Summit and DevNation

Azul Systems®, Inc. (Azul), the award-winning leader in Java™ runtime scalability, today announced it will participate in two of this year’s top Open Source conferences, Red Hat Summit and DevNation. Both events will be held the week of April 13. A Red Hat Summit sponsor, Azul will highlight its fully supported, standards-compliant JVMs at Booth No. 904. Later in the week, Azul CTO and Co-Founder Gil Tene will lead a technical discussion at DevNation. Co-located at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the two open source conferences present the perfect backdrop for Azul to showcase its innovations to the global Java community.

Red Hat Summit and DevNation draw open source enthusiasts, technologists and developers from across the globe. Red Hat’s Summit, which opens April 14, is the premier open source technology event to showcase the latest and greatest in cloud computing, platform, virtualization, middleware, storage and systems management technologies.

Throughout the conference, Azul executives will be on hand at Booth No. 904 to meet with members of the Java community and to highlight how Zing can deliver additional value to enterprises deploying Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, Red Hat JBoss Data Grid, Red Hat MRG Realtime and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Azul’s presentations will also highlight Zulu™, Azul’s free and open source commercialized build of OpenJDK™ for both Windows and Linux.

DevNation opens April 13, and is billed as an open source, polyglot conference for application developers and maintainers. On April 17, Azul’s Tene will host a session at DevNation entitled “Understanding Latency and Response Time Behavior.” This hour-long presentation will explore the common pitfalls when analyzing latency, and how these pitfalls can be addressed using new open source tools.
