The company launched its new Portable People Meter (PPM™) that tracks consumers’ exposure to media. It is a cell-phone-sized device that consumers wear throughout the day. The system works using identification codes embedded in the audio portion of the transmission. As consumers listen to radio or watch TV, the system automatically logs their activity.
