Matt McClernon is a technology leader with over 25 years of experience working within the Oracle ecosystem, designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical databases and their hosted applications for some of the largest global organizations.  Matt cut his teeth at the UK’s largest Oracle reseller back in the late 90s and developed a passion for optimizing and tuning Oracle workloads driven by an itch to eliminate waste and anti-patterns.  These days Matt is leading a group of Solution Architects at AWS where he focuses on building and growing teams that are grounded on a solid foundation of psychological safety and a strong work ethic.
