Challenge
JPA data caching issues in multi-tenant AWS cluster – cache not distributed across instances. Large instances were very expensive.
Solution
Payara Server Enterprise 5 with Data Grid feature. Replaced 2 large instances with more smaller AWS EC2 instances.
Result
Distributed caching solved JPA problem. Reduced cloud costs. Supports 1M+ users across two platforms.
