Monthly Java Security Briefings

Java security briefings are now scheduled to run every month. Alongside the quarterly Critical Patch Updates (CPUs) you already plan for, Azul delivers targeted monthly Critical Security Patch Updates (CSPUs), which are high-priority, security-only, stability-first fixes that cannot wait 90 days for the next quarterly window.

Note that some months the OpenJDK community may elect not to provide a CSPU. In this case, Azul will notify you that the briefing has been cancelled.

We encourage you to join Gil Tene, CTO and Co-Founder of Azul, for each briefing. Gil reviews the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) resolved in that month’s or quarter’s update, explains what changes in your patch pipeline and what does not, and takes your questions on other recent security issues impacting the Java ecosystem.
