Azul Payara 4 reached end of standard life in Q2 2025. From Q2 2025 it is available under Lifetime Support, a contracted, annually renewable service that keeps mission-critical Azul Payara 4 systems patched for critical security issues and selected bugs. Lifetime Support runs while the corresponding Java version is supported; Azul Core for JDK 8 is supported to 31 December 2030. Plan a migration to Azul Payara 5 (same javax namespace, no namespace rewrite) or to Azul Payara 6 or 7 on the jakarta namespace. Azul Payara Accelerator and Migration & Project Support can scope and run the move.
A free 20-to-30-minute session with an Azul Payara specialist. Get advice on your current Java environment, guidance on performance, or cloud-native adoption, and a clear roadmap for next steps.
