Azul Systems Joins Webinar Panel on Accelerating Trading System Performance without Redesign

Azul Systems®, Inc. (Azul), the award-winning leader in Java™ runtime scalability, today announced CTO and Co-Founder Gil Tene will participate as a panelist in a webcast entitled, “Accelerate Trading Performance and Reduce Costs Without Redesign.” The event will be held Wednesday, May 28, and will include participation from Redline Trading Solutions, IBM, Intel and Automated Trader.

Shrinking latency, improving determinism and cutting costs in trading applications have historically required a complete application redesign — a risk-prone, expensive and time-consuming endeavor. In “Accelerate Trading Performance and Reduce Costs Without Redesign,” Mr. Tene will be joined by panelists from Redline Trading Solutions and IBM to examine three alternatives that achieve improved performance without a major rewrite/porting project: vendor-neutral open APIs, latency-optimized runtime environments and the newest multi-core processor optimizations.
