Azul’s commercialized build of OpenJDK on Microsoft Windows now supported on the world’s leading open source enterprise Java platform

Azul Systems, Inc, (Azul), the award-winning leader in Java runtime solutions, today announced that Zulu 7, Azul’s commercialized build of OpenJDK that is compatible and compliant with the Java SE 7 standard, is certified with Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6 for deployments on Microsoft Windows 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012 operating systems. Red Hat JBoss EAP 6 drives Java workloads in the cloud as part of JBoss xPaaS services for OpenShift.

- 100% open source, free to download and commercialized version of OpenJDK, verified using the OpenJDK Technology Compatibility Kit (TCK) for Java SE 7 in addition to Azul’s robust stress and load testing
