Azul Systems® Announces Fourth Consecutive Record Annual Revenues

Mountain View, Calif. – March 4, 2009 – Azul Systems, the award-winning leader of enterprise server appliances for business critical Java™ applications, today announced for the fourth year in a row, record revenue for its just closed fiscal year, with major new customer wins including Puma, Groupe Mutuel, ESPN, and many other leading organizations. Contributing to the record results include customers such as British Telecom, ING/CitiStreet, LimeWire, and a significant government group.

Azul increased its customer base through wins in new market segments, including Government, Manufacturing and Online Services, in addition to expanding its footprint in Financial Services and Telco markets. Strategic partnerships and channel resellers also sparked growth, resulting in new wins especially with large scale, performance oriented Java deployments, including time-sensitive portals, mission-critical transactional systems, and data caching solutions.
